I've seen mention that certain ray's can be used as ranged weapon attacks and can apply the sneak attack damage with them. But they only mentioned one spell, scorching ray. Raises the question of what other spells fit into this category?

Curious as to which cantrips and spells would be considered ranged weapon attacks and which are not?

I'm aware, still wanting to know if they can be given finesse or not. One thought I had was taking a level of monk but i'm unsure if that gives finesse or just a feature similar to finesse.
