Her name was Monica, and it sounds like she had a pretty good handle on how to work herself into a better life when Katrina hit New Orleans, and now she's come up with a re-worked plan to do the same. I'm mostly in agreement with DonTadow about the other issues, but for her Monica I'll disagree.

Agreed. It's equivalent to a dragon's breath attack. And the stat that modifies the attack is dex (so a penalty or bonus to the devil's dex would be easily calculated)

I have a dark sense of humor too, but this show failed to awaken it from it's light snooze. Dead Like Me (from the same producer) was much better for that, IMO. The narrator of the show is Jim Dale, who does the Harry Potter books-on-tape.

Hollywood's idea of what constitutes a flop is different than the real world logic that we all employ. ;) They said the same thing about Kevin Smith's Clerks 2, but that had a budget of $5M, and took in $10M at the box office, before DVD sales. He was pretty happy about it, and says that...

I'm pretty much right there with you. It was okay. In some ways, it was better than the first episode (less angst), but the actual storyline felt disjointed. I haven't given up yet, but I'm afraid that this show needs too much rehabilitation to be watchable.

But it wasn't creepy...it was whimsical.

Right now, they only look at people watching the show when it's been broadcast. Anyone who timeshifts isn't counted in the ratings. While it's not hard to do - TIVO saves all kinds of anonymized data about your viewing habits (the most watched and re-watched 5 seconds of TiVo ever is the Janet...

I liked it, but thought that it was overly-cutesy. I like my death-themed shows to have more of an edge to it. :D

I thought it was ok, and definitely had potential. The question is whether it will figure out what it wants to be before NBC cancels them.
