Game night! Lots of interesting stuff - with some real surprises. Much fun.

Actually, I'd rather watch a freaky-deeky island soap than a regular soap, but I don't really want to watch a soap at all.

I'm seriously considering the wisdom in that. I recorded last night's episode, but I'm thinking about waiting until the season ends and then rent it on dvd - if it's worth bothering with.

More than likely it was editing that made it seem that way, not writing.

I'm actually tempted to just walk away for the rest of the season, and let other people's opinions on the season determine whether I'll watch it on DVD or not.

I'm pretty sure that in the last episode, when Rita and Chad went to the motel, it was about her problem.

Which is why Chad is on the hook to the badguys. Something happened, and Chad 'fixed' it.

I recall reading that the plan was always to kill off a specific character, but contract issues with that actor/actress have caused them to accelerate that part of the storyline.

Or it's some of his pre-cog ability, manifesting itself while he's awake.

Speaking of which, the next episode was released today. Yay.

There are 3 more episodes to go. The cliff-hanger will (hopefully) be resolved, and (again, hopefully) the plotholes will get filled ;)

Sunday night isn't our normal D&D night, so Superbowl is an easy choice to make. ;)

I was gonna watch the 3rd new episode this morning, but "all videos are unavailable". Urf? Did they go home for the night? Are there union considerations? Grrr. Last night, after watching the first new ep, it wouldn't let me watch any more, saying that no ads were available. I reloaded...

ABC.com has released the next 4 episodes of Day Break, picking up from where they left off in mid-December. Their media streaming service leaves something to be desired, but I was able to watch 2 episodes last night. The show continues to impress this majority of one. Apparently though...

I think that they vaguely referred to the Human Genome Project, and implied that the people on the list could be tied back to that. Perhaps they donated DNA for it or something. Suresh, not Sharesh ;)

I agree whole-heartedly. I felt the same when I watched it last night. I had no clue what the thematic purpose of the inter-cuts were. I felt that maybe it was about making connections and choices, but that never gelled, and I was left puzzled. :\ And D not knowing that Apollo did it...

Not to mention, I rolled a crit for you. I think that the crit was for a total of 6 damage, but it was a crit. :)

At this point, everyone in the rag-tag fleet knows all 7 of the cylon models.

I predict that Nikki will gain about 80-90% control over the situation, and Jessica will come out at some point in the storyline. Vaguely Dark Phoenix.
