Technically, the best I can find is that it's 'on hiatus', not cancelled. That means there's a chance (however small) that they'll still air the remaining episodes.

Yeah, but not until February 7th (I think). I hope we can watch the remaining 5 episodes. I'd be pretty angry if we didn't.

I thought that there was a wonderful creepiness to the capture-people-in-drawings aspect, but the explanation for why, and how it got fixed, and the torch thing was pretty sad.

The Baker books are the best at evoking the Eberron feel that I'm interested in (as a DM and player). The characters are decent, and the situations are fun and interesting. Characters growth is minimal (Baker's weakest point, I think), but they are unique and interesting. The Bassingthwait...

But there's a difference between enjoying and calling them 'good'. ;) I thought that they weren't good, nor were they enjoyable. The first book felt like the guy had a checklist of Eberron elements that he needed to use in order to fullfill his writing contract. It was sad.

Anyone watch it? More fun & goodness. I like how Hopper found Dettweiler (Jonathan Banks! Yay! I love him!), and we got the iterative sequence until Hopper got enough info to figure out what to do: hand off the material, knowing that it would spark events, and allow him to trace new people...

I disagree. The pace for Lost is the same now as it was 2 years ago. At the time I thought it was ok, because I really didn't have any point of comparison. The pace for Heroes (and the other shows I mentioned) is, for me, a better pace, and leaves Lost in the dust.
