    EN World EN5ider Has Launched!

Thanks for all the feedback you've given so far. Your feedback will help me decide what content to approve in the future. Keep it coming! Regarding the length of the adventures, I view them as one- or two-session games (Emotion is definitely the former). They can be one-shots or sidequests...

    D&D 5E (2014) EN5IDER is almost here!

I may be a bit biased, but EN5IDER has some great content. Both as previews on Patreon and in the pipeline.

D&D 5E (2014) Need Help Finding a Map Source (WotC)

Two or three somewhat-involved Google searches later... I think it's from the 3.5e Tome of Magic! http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ag/20060331a

    Greg Tito Is UHURA!

It's a reference to Lt. Uhura from Star Trek. She was the Enterprise's communications officer. :P

EN5IDER and TRAILseeker Are Coming Soon!

Patreon is a service similar to Kickstarter. Instead of paying a certain amount up front, this is basically a patronage system. You agree to pledge a certain amount of money every time EN5ider and/or TRAILseeker publishes new content. As long as you remain a patron, you get access to our weekly...

[Updated] Chris Sims & Jennifer Clarke Wilkes Let Go From WotC

This thought makes me sad, but I don't know enough about the inner workings of the industry to add much. It does, though, make me wonder what can be done to revitalize the RPG industry.

    En5ider FAQs

To answer the monster question for now, simply include the monster's name in bold. "When you enter this room, three goblins leap from the rafters..." For unique creatures whose stat blocks were created for this article/adventure, do the same, but also cite the what page their stat block is on...

EN5IDER and TRAILSEEKER Articles & Adventures

We're building up a back catalog of material before we're ready to launch. EN5ider hopes to have at least two issues worth of material before we go live.

    The Official Elemental Evil Announcement

I think it's cool that the prophet of elemental earth is a male medusa. It's a cool elemental tie-in, and male medusas aren't something you see every day.

    D&D 5E (2014) Tiefling Bloodlines

In the Fire Emblem series, there's a people called the Branded, and I always think of them when I play tieflings. They're very similar thematically; both are born of an accursed, magical union and gain longer lives and unique powers. But the Brand is fickle, and likes to skip generations. I've...

    EN World ENsider

I think this is a fabulous idea. I never read Dungeon or Dragon magazines while they were in print—my only subscription was to Nintendo Power—but I've been catching up. I think the 'zine format has a lot to offer that blog posts can't, and the ENWorld seal of approval definitely carries weight...

    D&D 5E (2014) Magic Items in 5e... Lackluster?

I love 5e, but I have a big beef with its magic items. They aren't bad, per se. A lot of them are just as good as when I first saw them in earlier editions. But I'm coming to expect more from magic items, not just "spells in a can" or a magical "swiss army knife." Take a look over at Paizo's...
