If the digital books you buy get automatically updated to the latest print version on the market then I would say this is very much worth it. I mean I already bought two of each core books (1st and 2nd print) and neither at the discount DDB offers.

To be fair Paizo didn't develop its own game engine (derivative as it may be) only to abandon it and take up the 5e ruleset. I'm guessing a good chunk of their player base would be upset if they did that. It does allow others to do that very thing though giving us variety. Win win situation.

Sorry for the thread necro but something occurred to me just now. Warcaster feat allows the use of a cantrip as an AoO. Let's say the lore bard with warcaster hits his target with BB. The target decides to move away and is hit with BB as an AoO again. Would they take the BB rider damage twice...

While I didn't do any such checks - after a moment of excitement i did pause to think...'hang on maybe it's beamdog teasing a new enhanced edition'. I guess that's the case.
