[VOTING IS OVER!] Vote For The Most Anticipated RPG of 2021!

Voted Fading Suns last year and will continue to do so this year as well. Now in theory it's already out in digital format to its KS backers but I suppose a wider physical release is still due so that's fair play. Other than that: Werewolf 5e to see what they do with it and Fallout 2d20 because...

Subject to DM approval, don't forget.

    D&D 5E (2014) Tasha: Now on D&D Beyond, Roll20, Fantasy Grounds

Does Artificer Initiate still allow the use of higher level spell slots to cast the spells gained via the feat? Because if so, Magic Initiate seriously needs an update...

    D&D 5E (2014) Tasha’s cauldron character thread

I'm actually doing something like that in my campaign. First short rest is 1 minute, second 10 third 1 hour. Can only benefit from 1 short rest per hour and up to 3 per day. If you want a 4th one you need the catnap spell. Works pretty well.

NVN, NVN2 and IWD2 were running on modified 3.x ed.

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Kingmaker Definitive Edition Now On Consoles

Can only speak about the 3rd party mod I used to enable it but it altered the difficulty curve drastically. The end boss of the super dungeon became much easier in turn mode. To anyone considering it - either play with the kingdom management switched to automatic or save each time you have to...

D&D 5E (2014) Rime of the Frostmaiden Previews Include a Scroll of Tarrasque Summoning

Not a wizard spell. They can't scribe it. It's a single use nuke for when you're absolutely screwed. As a reminder - we are dealing with a goddess in RotFM. This sort of heavy grade weaponry might be quite necessary.

    D&D 5E (2014) Unearthed Arcana: 16 New Feats

Sorry my bad, i was thinking about Heroes of Horror. That's where dread as a mechanic showed up although I'm also confusing that for the class ability of the Dread Witch PrC which allowed fear effects to ignore fear immunity.

    D&D 5E (2014) Unearthed Arcana: 16 New Feats

Didn't Libris Mortis also introduce Dread as a concept of fear Paladins weren't immune to and that 20 level Necromancer class that became a lich by lvl 20? That book was whack...

WotC Older D&D Books on DMs Guild Now Have A Disclaimer

The devil thing had rallied significant support on twitter. The sexism thing was more isolated, but just because I ran into only one case of that sentiment, doesn't mean it's not more widespread. At which point do we acknowledge that a problem is a problem?

    D&D 5E (2014) Unearthed Arcana: 16 New Feats

I miss the distinction between low light vision and dark vision.

At least one devil was brought up as being a harmful depiction of trans people (the person went so far as to suggest this was done intentionally, though i didn't see any direct evidence backing that particular claim), so devils are on that list and i did bring up the poster claiming sexism is...

    D&D 5E (2014) Unearthed Arcana: 16 New Feats

It does solve a whole lot of issues for races that don't have darkvision. The added benefit of seeing through magical darkness is just cherry on top.

    D&D 5E (2014) Unearthed Arcana: 16 New Feats

Mask of Many Faces, Devil's Sight, Beast Speech, Eldritch Sight, Eyes of the Rune Keeper, Gaze of Two Minds, Misty Visions... they all sound like pretty darn good choices. Seriously though - Devil's Sight is almost a no brainer.

Devoid of all the peripheral imagery, I'm certain Hobgoblins would be flagged as offensive to NA (who were described as people of honour as well in texts relaying the early interactions with them). The peripheral imagery does however shift the focus to the other ethnic group. This is one of the...

    D&D 5E (2014) Unearthed Arcana: 16 New Feats

Ritual Caster would like to have a word with you. Sure it's limited. So is the metamagic feat. Re: firearms. Artíficers are suggested to have proficiency in firearms where they are available to players so that's one case of said proficiency being built in.

That's because they are pretty consistently presented as wearing samurai armour, adhering to some kind of honor code (the racial ability is saving face!) so no, Native Americans aren't protesting them but I've seen at least one post indicating them as problematic to East Asians. The skin...

WotC Older D&D Books on DMs Guild Now Have A Disclaimer

Devil eyed beasts is most certainly a description colonial times folks would have used to describe natives to underlie how unholy they are, so that's false. References to brown, black, yellow or red skin colour are a no go as well, which leaves green (orcs are often already portrayed as such)...

WotC Older D&D Books on DMs Guild Now Have A Disclaimer

Duergar, Derro, Drow (Dark Sun has cannibalistic halflings as well) are typically seen as antagonistic races - each with its own set of flaws so your example isn't exactly accurate. Plus we have the racial dislike between dwarves and elves and the high elven sense of superiority.
