"I won't lie, this makes me nervous. 'Van, is there anything that you can rig up that makes us look like we are bound, but can be loosened easily by us?" Ezraen turns to the elf, "I want to make sure that we are in as much control as we can be if we do this."

It's not so much that, but more when it comes down to the choice of freedom (the surface) or us. He wants to believe, but is... hesitant. It is early yet, and keeping as many of us alive is still in the best interest of each of us, there will come a time when Ez fully expects to sacrifice...

Ha ha, no, I totally understand. The interesting thing about all of this is that while Ezraen is devoted to keeping you all alive, even to the point that he would die to protect you all, he is very uncertain that any of you would do the same for him.

As a player I am totally with you, but Ez is constantly trying to find his bearings down here. Some actual interaction would help him tremendously... :p

If Surana shares the sentiment, Ez is willing to defer to her judgment.

I am too. I think that depending on how dangerous crossing Deeplake is, I think we might want to cut the trip short and go straight to Gracklestugh. Ez will be mulling this info in his head for now, but I am good to move forward as well.

Ezraen frowns slightly in thought, "Okay, then we deliver Drum to his home, then we head to Gracklestugh or, what was it, Blingdenstone? Topsy, Turvy, do you know how far Blingdenstone would be from Neverlight Grove? Would it be farther to Gracklestugh or Blingdenstone?"

"I certainly hope so, though I doubt it will be so easy... Especially since, a bulk of us don't speak their tongue, or even the Undercommon one."

In response to Sarith, Ezraen looks to Erevan and Surana, "It does sound like it could be a good place to get some better weapons and armor. It may help us survive a bit longer, if Drum's folk cannot take us up to the surface directly."

At the talk of cults and such, Ezraen is going to concentrate and use the Divine Sense ability. The range is only 60 feet, and only detects the presence of fiends, celestials, or undead, but I am using it more as a roleplay/storytelling device to give you the opportunity to give us information...

Ezraen looks quizzically, but shrugs figuring that if it was a threat to them, she would have told him. You didn't tell us, did you? I don't remember you doing so. -- The paladin nods curtly, agreeing with Surana's sentiment.

If Ez hears Sarith's comment, he looks hard at the drow, initially stung by his frankness. As the heartbeats pass, the half-drow realizes that he is actually thankful for the dark elf's honesty. "Refresh my memory again, what is Gracklestugh?" --- Ezraen does his best to keep positive, but...

Yeah, that's what I noticed. As long as I don't forget my abilities. Advantage would be nice, but that is easier to get ad Oath of Vengeance. ;)

Thanks, Mageman! I have been having a heck of a time on Fantasy Grounds. When I checked it looked dead. Haven't been on FG since Pathfinder Society 3 or 4 years ago.
