Yessir! It's even more fun trying to pronounce them, making sure that is sounds like sounds from water... :p

"Well, let us find out then..." Ezraen starts preparing the area for potential battle, "Let us hope they are not also infected like those Hook Horrors."

Okay, I wasn't sure if the horn meant they spotted us... Ezraen looks deep in thought, "Shuushar, does this mean anything to you?"

Ezraen scowls, "Dig in, hold your ground and watch your neighbor's back." The paladin gets ready for battle.

Ezraen nods, "Agreed."

"Perhaps," Ezraen replies to Orsik, "But it sounds as if he might rather sacrifice them than heal them though. We can ask. Let's take a measure of this kuo-toa first." The half-drow nods to Derendil, "Understood, but it is not in my nature to simply terrorize them to get what we want..."

Ezraen sighs, almost looking defeated, "We do have some trade-ables from that priestess' shrine."

Ezraen shoots a sharp look at Sarith, "Not funny."

Ezraen smiles sadly, "Trust me, I know." The paladin looks visibly shaken at Erevan's comment about the warmth of the sun, but the pain in his eyes gets replaced with determination quickly, "We'll get there, 'Van. I will do everything in my power to bring us back to the surface."

Ez looks at Erevan, "Well, our original plan was to take Drum home, and perhaps his people can show us the way up. To do that, we need to make it across Darklake, if I recall correctly." Looking from the elf to Surana, "Has that changed?"

Ezraen looks thoughtful, "Do you have any suggestions that might help us find passage across Darklake without fighting?" Ezraen grins, trying to lighten the mood, "Did I mention that I hate this place?"
