    D&D 5E (2014) [IC] Uller's Out of the Abyss

I think that we should try to head out, if Shushar let's us know that there may be 'islands' out there that we could rest on. If not, we do our scavenging, then pick out a shelter to rest and after that we can head out...

    D&D 5E (2014) [IC] Uller's Out of the Abyss

May Lathander deem us worthy to cross paths again someday... Ezraen whispers, hoping that Glabbagool can hear him. Then then with a deep breath, stands and addresses the others, Let us check the Kuo-toa camp and see if we can salvage some supplies and a boat to get us to Gracklestugh or...

    D&D 5E (2014) [OOC] Uller's Out of the Abyss

    D&D 5E (2014) [IC] Uller's Out of the Abyss

I know, brother. I know... Ezraen looks at each of the other survivors in our little ragtag band. What is around us? Pillars? Anything that might survive his acidic nature?

    D&D 5E (2014) [IC] Uller's Out of the Abyss

Ez is up-top. He's trying to reassure Erevan. I am torn... I REALLY want a gelatinous cube in our party, but Sarith is right, we are likely still being tracked.

    D&D 5E (2014) [IC] Uller's Out of the Abyss

Once Ezraen gets up top, and sees Erevan's hysterics he puts his hand on the elf's shoulder, I am not sure we can... maybe the water level will let him make it up, but that also may allow those oozes up above as well!

    D&D 5E (2014) [IC] Uller's Out of the Abyss

Ezraen looks torn, Stay hidden, perhaps you can float up when the water fills the room... Do you think that might work? He spares a glance at the black oozes then grasps the rope and begins the climb. Glabbagool, we will wait for you.

    D&D 5E (2014) [IC] Uller's Out of the Abyss

Ezraen starts ushering the others up (hopefully someone lowers a rope) and readies an action to channel divinity if the ooze starts coming their way. I'll hold it off, if need be. You guys just get up there! He then looks at Glabbagool, Will you come with us? Will you be able to follow us up there?

I assumed that the first one was when you emerged, and so it was before things started happening, but if you send regular updates, then we can keep you updated too. If not, then we may have to fight this beast... :p

Understood. I can respond briefly to a message cantrip? Keep us updated on the progress. We will sit tight. If Erevan sends a message after checking out the source of the splashing: We have a problem! There is a giant ooze, like one of those black puddings. Don't think it's spotted us yet.
