And you know this how? Do you have insider information? Is this publicly available information I just haven't seen? I mean we know the salary range of the new D&D jobs (200K), but I have no idea what Chris & Jeremy would be making at CR.

I was on them all throughout 4e and until they closed. People always have opinions and some feel passionate about them. I never take internet chatter personally, so I guess I never felt much of a difference between the WotC forums and EnWorld.

Depending on how your Myrkul fight went, the CR 21 Archhag reworked as an avatar of bane might work well.

I think the ArchHag from the 2024 MM might be good to look at. It has some interesting curse mechanics that might be a good for an avatar of Bane. Can you remind of your group's level when they took down Myrkul?

What is the purpose for the avatar of bane? Should it be a victory for the PCs or a threat of TPK? How many PCs.

I know, I checked it out (@Dire Bare provided a link - thank you). I am basically limiting myself to what EnWorld shows me because I don't have time for much else. EnWorld shows me Kickerstarter and Backerkit, not DriveThruRPG. What can I do?! :unsure: Interesting enough I did buy 7 things off...

I am not yet a PF fan. I bought the PF2 core books when they came out, but nothing since. I am no likely to stroll through Infinite, but Kickstarter's come to me naturally and would be will to look at some PF2 KS if they came across my desktop.

I recently had two ideas how to mitigate the impact of bad rolls on boss encounters: Boss has Advantage on all d20 rolls and PCs have Disadvantage. Boss monsters always roll and extra d20 on d20 tests (Boss Advantage) and it stacks with standard Advantage

Thanks, I guess that makes sense, but disappointing. I have no knowledge or history with Pathfidner Infinite and will likely never see those products. If they crowdfunded I would be much more likely to see it and possibly purchase something.

Ya, what is intuitive is pretty subjective so it was, IMO, and odd choice of description. IMO, requiring so many rolls and resolutions for combat is not intuitive: 2 rolls (opposed) for each attack (which is modified by the number of attackers), if 1 or more "successes" you roll... A damage...

Sounds like a cool fight and fun encounter. I do have one question: "...decides to switch to greater invisibility. But he still cannot move due to the fear effect, so the paladin knows exactly where he is." Does the BBEG have really low intelligence or something? This like a very odd choice...

I just queried this in the weekly crowdfunding thread, but thought I would ask here as well: Are there any PF2 kickstarters? I see lots for 5e, Shadowdark, Dragon's Bane, OSR games, etc., but I don't ever see any for PF2. Am I missing them or are they just not out there?

The free supplement gives you a lot to go on. I was intrigued by the idea of intuitive combat, but the mechanics sure didn't feel that way to me! Not that there is anything wrong with them, I just wouldn't describe mechanics more complex than D&D as intuitive (and I realize those are not...

It is interesting that there are kickstarters for many systems (and multiple kickstarters for several systems) every week, but I rarely see any for Pathfinder 2e. @Egg Embry , I assume that is just because you don't find many/any? Curious if my perceived lack of PF2 crowdfunding is indeed the case.
