GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

I don't know them well. However, I believe they handle IP differently, so if there is anything you don't want to share then you might look into more closely. However, if your completely open (like LevelUp) you can release it in either or even both! The OGL requires including the whole license...

Eberron: Forge of the Artificer to Be Priced at $29.99

You could be correct. However, those are at least not the blood thirsty savage gnolls of the MM. Those look like they could be PCs.

D&D 5E (2024) You Can Now Pre-order Eberron: Forge of the Artificer

I don't know what Khoravar are, but this image from the other article on this sure looks like playable gnolls to me:

Are those playable Gnolls?! Was it @Charlaquin that was asking for these?

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

I asked him in one of the many threads on this subject over the last 2 or so years. However, I don't remember his response. So, I will second the question!

D&D General D&D Editions: Anybody Else Feel Like They Don't Fit In?

(Emphasis mine) You believe everything before 2024 is trash?! That is the first I have seen anyone say that!

D&D General D&D Editions: Anybody Else Feel Like They Don't Fit In?

Does anyone believe this? I have never seen that opinion shared on these forums. I see a lot of "don't yuck on my yum" type comments, but that is very different in nature and intent.

D&D 5E (2014) To Be or Not to Be: Legendary

Yep, that is another tool in the tool box. I just prefer methods that don't spend HP myself, so I stopped using that mechanic. Instead I have the cost being on the DPR side instead of the HP side. There isn't really much difference in the idea: recover or prevent damage at a cost. Heck that is...

D&D General D&D Editions: Anybody Else Feel Like They Don't Fit In?

This is the disconnect for me and your idea that healing surges (HS) are "wound points." Physical attacks in 4e almost never caused you to loose HS. If a dragon bites you it takes your HP not your HS. You can replenish your HP with HS, but that strikes me as vitality, not wounds. At least that...

D&D General D&D Editions: Anybody Else Feel Like They Don't Fit In?

I will try to explain, but I am don't know that I have the ability to clearly and fully do so. I know I can't explain my point as thoroughly as you do yours! I can't speak for other systems or how other people use them. I have never played in a system the had separate pools for wounds and...

D&D 5E (2014) To Be or Not to Be: Legendary

Yep, to gamist for my designer / DM taste, fine if I was a player though.

D&D General D&D Editions: Anybody Else Feel Like They Don't Fit In?

I always thought of HP and surges as both vitality in 4e. The fact that they interacted the way they did made it clear to me. IMO, there are no wound points in 4e (or any edition of D&D). For us, HP & HS did not fulfill our desire for wound points. It was 4e that gave us the idea to create...

Pathfinder to Release Lost Omens: Draconic Codex in December

Pretty cool, I am a bit tired of his style but it is still fun! That giant undead looks very interesting!

D&D General D&D Editions: Anybody Else Feel Like They Don't Fit In?

I think I am being unclear. I don't understand how you think your suggestion is an improvement to what we are already doing. If anything, I see your proposal as unnecessarily confusing/conflating the two pools. The value, IMO, of the way we do it is that they are separate. What, in your mind, is...

D&D General D&D Editions: Anybody Else Feel Like They Don't Fit In?

I am not quite following what you are asking / suggesting. To hopefully help, I will explain what we do in more detail. Hit Points: No different than standard 5e. Calculated the same and function the same. Recovered that same (or whatever rest and recovery variant you want) Bloodied Hit...

    D&D General DALL·E 3 does amazing D&D art

Like I have said many times - everyone is different! The MM version is the only 2024 core book art (that I can think of) that I would actively want replaced. I dislike it on many levels. The setting sun is indeed a nice touch, but that is it for me.

D&D 5E (2014) To Be or Not to Be: Legendary

Did you look at the mythic version (3rd statblock in the OP). I agree the mythic trait is the way to go. It gives a lot more design flexibility.
