A little off topic, but my favorite novels were already done. I've always beena fan of the Wild Cards shared setting and it's been done twice, once for GURPS and most recently for M&M. That said, I thnk it would be fun to do a take-off of Mary Gentle's Grunts where everybody plays Orcs.

All I have locally is a Games Workshop. Games Plus IS excellent, but it's a one hour drive for me absolute minimum.

I'm 46. I started playing D&D in '77 with a white box that had three little brown books and a sheet of tables. After seeing the game evolve over the past 32 years, all I can say is it's all good.

Worst case scenario, Hasbro shelves D&D and the OGL becomes the focus of RPGs for years to come. Hasbro will never ever sell D&D. Hasbro is not in the business of selling off their IP.
