A Gaming Table My Wife Will Let Me Have

It's great for D&D, too. It adds a dimension to the game you just don't get with a grid and dry erase markers. Plus, I like Hirst Arts molds, so modular buildings and dungeons are a nice addition, too.

A Gaming Table My Wife Will Let Me Have

I use pink or blue foam insulation board for my tabletop miniature wargames. I cut the sheets into smaller, 2'X2' boards to make modular sets that can be set up in many different configurations. The sunken aspect allows me to drop these modular boards in and keeps them from moving around during...

The Ukltimate Table is nice, but I sort of need that sunken aspect the Sultan has to use it effectively with my wargaming, too. Hmmmmm..... I might have to creat my own plans...

Hope you like your DDI Subscription!

I had thought about subscribing for a month just to see how it was... until I found out you had to sign up for auto-renew even if your subscription was for a single month. That ended the possibility of DDI for me.

Our world through the eyes of a D&D inhabitant

Okay, I'm going to make a Lotto check. What do you mean "roll all zeros on 8d10"?

She also knows I'm in the habit of squirreling away cash from each and every paycheck to devote towards my gaming habit. My problem is, she'll notice it if I squirrel away a couple hundred dollars ever week... Hmmmmmmm.... There must be a way around this. I've got the space. The problem is...

In the words of Igor Olman, "IT SHALL BE MINE!" Seriously, I'd love to come up with something like that. The materials used in construction appear to be the best possible.

As to your first, why not? As to your second, I think jeans and Hawaiian shirts would be appropriate.

I know. Digging into their site, the basic version is just under $10K with no bells and whistles. If I had cash coming out of my butt, $15K would be an easy amount to spend on this.

A Gaming Table My Wife Will Let Me Have

This is the coolest and highest class gaming table I have ever seen. Not only is it usable for RPGs, but would also be ideal for tabletop wargaming (another hobby of mine): ENers, meet The Sultan Now, all I have to do is come up with the $10K price tag...

Internet: good or bad for D&D?

I'd say the internet pretty much guaranteed the survival of D&D. Had the internet not been in place when Lorraine Williams completely trashed TSR, I don't think WotC would have been successful without the input they gained from the internet.

Kill, Make Whoopie With, or Marry? 2e. 3.x, and 4e

Kill 4E I had my fling with 3.x, but it didn't last. I married 2E long ago, and she took me back as if nothing happened with that 3.x tart.

    Gleemax is Dead

Given that the novel lines are supporting Magic:the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons, it is most likely those two product lines are doing very well and are safe from any possibility of being cut. Some of the other product lines could be on the chopping block, though.

DDI = eTools 4.0 Why would that be any more troubling than those CD-ROMs of sneak peek software in the back of the 3rd edition PHB's? D'oh!
