    D&D 5E (2014) Anti-insperation

The inspiration mechanics use actions tied directly to the characters, e.g., personality traits, bonds, ideas and flaws). That being the case, I think anti-inspiration should follow suite. Comparing the traits to alignment, I think that traits are the superior choices (for anti-inspiration)...

    D&D 5E (2014) FINALS! (1) Fighter v. (1) Wizard

Considering D&D is a game designed around demonstrating how wizards are superior to everything else, I am pleasently surprise by the fighters showing.

D&D 5E (2014) Take enemy weapon with Mage Hand

I would only allow mage hand to take an unfastened item, and only on immobilized or fully stationary target, during combat. Outside of combat, I would allow it. I would use an appropriate skill check based on the situation. I would let mage hand be used to hinder as an action because even if a...

D&D 5E (2014) Player challange Vs Character challange (Metagaming)

I think there is a big difference for me between a player that knows chemistry making use of that knowledge and a player using information that went un-noticed to their character like the thief successfully stealing a gem of a table. I don't have any issue with player knowledge, I do have an...

    D&D 5E (2014) FINALS! (1) Fighter v. (1) Wizard

That is why I give all my friends a hug and a firm handshake. A wizard can't hope to survive the rigors of a formal greeting. This message was brought to you by Wizard 60 program. Wizard 60 program is dedicated to helping kids & wizards achieve the recommended 60 minutes of physical activity...

    D&D 5E (2014) FINALS! (1) Fighter v. (1) Wizard

I rather have Str fighter that ended up dead in game. Then have a Dex fighter, and end up dead on the inside.

D&D 5E (2014) The Official Poll! What THREE things do you like most about D&D 5th Edition?

This was a hard choices. I decide to separate what I liked from what make or break me playing 5e. Rules light, Bounded Accuracy and Concentration are features that correct long standing issues I had with D&D. I voted for Advantage/disadvantage, Backgrounds, Magic items not required. Design...

    D&D 5E (2014) FINALS! (1) Fighter v. (1) Wizard

No way. This is a popularity contest. A Dex fighter would be throwing the contest.

Simplicity. Especially when it comes to magic.

    D&D 5E (2014) House Rules - magic healing

Don't know if it has already been said, but you could also have the issue of magical healing causing a lingering injury to become permanent. If you have a broken leg and you heal them without properly setting the leg you run the risk of having it heal quickly but also wrong.

    D&D 5E (2014) Seeking Zombie Ideas!

I could see tailoring the optional honor rules in the DM could add on to this. Have it be your level of infection.

    D&D 5E (2014) Seeking Zombie Ideas!

I think it could work to have a toned down version of the Rug of Smothering (or the Cloaker.) Coupled with mob tactics or other teamwork trait it would make zombies deadly. There would always be a threat of being overwhelmed by weak zombies. It would also put PCs in situations where they are...

D&D 5E (2014) Open Interpretation Inspirational Healing Compromise.

Let's look at gnomes. There are people that irrationally hate the gnome; there are people that irrationally love the gnome. Apply this logic to the magic vs. non-magic argument and things will become clear. (Won't claim it will make you understand though.)

What you're saying is partially correct. Different people will draw the line at difference places. For me, I strongly dislike the idea of mental stats replacing Strength or Dexterity on attack rolls and damage rolls. However, if the help action gave the ally bonuses to damage based on...

Outside of skills (which aren't unique) it doesn't benefit much from int or cha either. I think it is only levels 1, 3 and 17 that have features that benefit from int and cha.

I'm not certain but I thought Disguise kit was intelligence. I'm not sure why you quoted me to listed out bonus skills individually. Two features of the mastermind use ability scores, three don't. I would have liked for all five to have had some benefit from ability score, to balance out all...

I'll try this one more time, but I feel like we will just keep going around in circles. The mastermind features are described as being about intelligence and charisma which is good. I prefer to having a good intelligence or charisma ability scores contribute to features describe as being...

Your response indicates that the statement actually is accurate. The things you site as problems, in your last post, aren't problems at all to me, and those things you don't see as significant are significant to me. It's really that simple. Despite being told to the contrary, I see more traps...
