I am most excited about the expanded Phandelver campaign. Lost Mines was a great way to introduce D&D to new players but required some adjustment to connect with any other adventure path.

No, I imagine it is not a business failure for WotC. It is a misstep for me to purchase as much content in the future. This will become moot as D&D products become more tied to D&D Beyond with expanded online content and digital tokens/miniatures.
