    D&D 5E (2014) Skill Ranking

Stretching on my 4th choice, but went for Sleight of Hand. It IS a useful skill, but you can go entire campaigns and never notice it missing if you don't intentionally try to use it.

New Trailer for Secret Level's D&D Episode Released

D&D: Something felt missing. It had references, a small story, and several things to like. Maybe I didn't jive with the ending? 7/10. Sifu: Dripping with style every second of its runtime. Equal parts Arcane and Kung Fu Panda. Just too short. 8/10. New World: A cute idea, but it really felt...

Another vote for the ring. Defend those Concentration saves!

D&D General [Humor] Things You Hate About 7E

They said VR wasn't mandatory, but all the virtual tabletops force you to use it. And all the new books are subscription only through the same VR services! At least everyone is allowed to change their race after a long rest, to catch up with modern sensibilities. A long time coming if you...

D&D General Baldurs Gate Grand Dukes Post DiA/BG3

Several Grand Dukes were first Marshals of the Flaming Fist, and with good reason. It's always possible a particularly charismatic Patriar takes the position, but it's probably going to cause big waves with the Flaming Fists. And that's a plot thread players can chase all the way into civil...

Prince Humperdinck and Westley alternate ending, if Westley rolled a 1 on Intimidate. :sneaky:

    D&D General BG 1,2, DiA?

I'll give a humble shout out to a Gnomish Fighter/Illusionist in BG1. Hitting things with blindness then shooting them with a bow while they stagger around never gets old, and is amazing for Legacy of Bhaal difficulty.

D&D General Changing subclasses mid-campaign (or even classes)

I definitely allow it. Especially in your case where the transition is already a very natural and organic one. It really comes down to frequency for me. I'm always going to side with the player and let them transition once or twice during a campaign, and only start giving them the narrative...

D&D General Questions about comissioning art

Commissions open. People race to submit theirs. You get whatever spot in line you get, unless you just don't want to go with that artist. A better question is who are YOU hiring that is both awesome and consistently quick? Give them a shout out and I will definitely give them a shot!

D&D General Questions about comissioning art

I mean, that would be great! Sometimes I get a quality piece very quickly, and that rocks. Far more often they have several other commissions and I'm waiting my turn, then they have some emergency, or just get sluggish and send me apologies. Thankfully I usually get a solid product in the end.

D&D General Questions about comissioning art

Also, expect the commission to take a while. Sometimes you get lucky with lightning fast turn around, but 3+ months is far more common.

D&D General D&D is ruined forever! (humor)

Gender attribute differences. Such an outcry when they were removed.

    D&D 5E (2024) EM’s World(s) [+]

Faerun brings back the Wall of the Faithless. All detractors of the new over-deity EM are put there. Lantan gnomes start shipping rectangular horseless carriages to the mainland. Talos is renamed Tesla, and forced to build shrines to empower these horseless carriages.

D&D 5E (2024) No more Cleric and Sorc dips!

How many characters have you seen created and played with the new rules?

Hasbro Confirms New Unannounced Dungeons & Dragons Video Game in Development

This is my vote. BG3 is still massively popular and a bad BG4 might blow up in their face. MUCH safer to do Icewind Dale 3 to capitalize on nostalgia and BG3 momentum, but also able to wave it off if the game does poorly.

D&D 5E (2024) Should full casters and Monks have one weapon mastery?

You did specify Class, but High Elves are worth mentioning.

D&D General Harshest House Rule (in use)?

You know, it's definitely a looong way away from how I run my own games. But assuming the game itself is spectacular, I would probably just make charlatan characters who make up things about the world until I actually learn enough through natural gameplay. Literally faking it until I make it. :geek:
