I watched it, I was not particularly impressed by the storytelling, particularly the last episode.

Suddenly I noticed they are using the same lopsided uniforms as Discovery and.... the fact that they did not change that really does make it seem like a Discovery sequel rather than being its own thing.

Me neither, but that was COVID. I refuse to watch an Avatar film for the first time in anything less than cinematic 3D. I am going to assume, not necessarily correctly, that there will be opportunity to see the second film again when this one hits theatres, and then I will rectify that.

Mostly why anyone would be excited by this. Maybe I just do not know how audio books "work" but it did not sound gripping to me at all.

One guy who I think you could probably not actually recast anytime soon is Deadpool*. Much of that of course being that Ryan Reynolds is completely tied up in the authorship of his iteration. *Variants do not quite count the same way.
