    Re blood - good question. Am tempted to make it any blood as it's amorphous (and makes a contrast to the vampire for instance) description looks good though seeing "undead" used as a noun in this way (not as collective noun) I find a little grating for some reason...I'd use it as an adjective...

    If Wave of Lethargy has no recharge, should the life drain's damage be upped a little then (say to 17 (4d6+3))?

    Tossing up between recharge 4-6 and 5-6 - I like the idea of it having an AoE attack that can be used more than once in a combat.
