I think I'd go with Mystaran Dragonfly, all things considered

Well it depends what we see as canon really- in Mystara/BECMI they were just Dragon Fly - so strictly speaking, iuf that is the canon then we are stuck with that as a name alternates could be draconic odonatid?

ok they look all good to me (but my eye for detail is not great). So the Mystara dragon flies have the same ascending size/power as corresponding chromatic dragons (I guess we ignore Bergmann's Rule then)

5E: Monstrous Arthropods for Fifth Edition

It annoys me how 5e is vague or leaves out some sizes (e.g. giant heights). I think more info is better than less. Regarding the nymph/larva text issue - the answer/algorithm is the simplest that doesn't introduce amibguity. Happy with blindsight at a greater distance as well.

They've all got such huge multifaceted eyes....so yes, I reckon perception proficiency is a must! Re cool varieties - am keen on the BECMI chromatic "dragon" flies -espeically as I have Tiamat as a villain warping critters!

What adventure module have you pillaged the most without using the main plot?

actually Witchlight aside...the plots of the published WOTC adventure books are pretty meh. So pillaging is a default position

I have no problem with bitey munchey larvae - they could do significant munching damage. All other stuff looks good.

No, all these look fine Happy with Motion Camouflage I strongly support giving them acrobatics and also support some Big Cats with Teeth (i.e. alternate takes)
