What was the story with her exit? M.T. just cites "bad experiences."

RPG Crowdfunding News – Ptolus, Stibbles Codex of Companions, Pasión de las Pasiones, and more

This is for stuff ending the last full week of March; I can't imagine Egg will sit on such a high-profile project before it's over (not that it needs the push!).

RPG Crowdfunding News – Ptolus, Stibbles Codex of Companions, Pasión de las Pasiones, and more

That cover design for Pasión de las Pasiones is dead-on for the genre.

RPG Crowdfunding News – Ptolus, Stibbles Codex of Companions, Pasión de las Pasiones, and more

The pics precede the blurbs in the article, so it must be The Camlann Chronicles. I liked The Sassoon Files, so I'll probably back this, too.

'DC Universe All Star Games' Is A New RPG Show Featuring Freddie Prinze Jr and Sam Witwer

Wow, that's unexpected! They also recently reprinted the old Watchmen game supplements as part of the Watchmen Companion and the Green Ronin books have been unavailable for a while. I wonder if this surge in DC RPG stuff presages a new version of the game?

D&D General Companies Cut Ties With Judges Guild After Owner's Racist Posts

I am against this, as I had picked page 12 in the pool to see when this thread got locked.

D&D 5E (2014) DC Comics Publishing Dungeons & Dragons Sourcebook

I thought Rolled and Told was only just starting to figure itself out when it folded, so I'd welcome a return (hell, the return of any print RPG magazine, really). The house ad on the back of the last issue promised "Fall 2020" as a return, but I'll be surprised to see it. I'm not sure how many...

D&D 5E (2014) DC Comics Publishing Dungeons & Dragons Sourcebook

As someone who is a comic book geek before a gaming geek, some educated speculation: it sounds like it's formatted (trim and page count) like a standard comic book; the higher page count and corresponding price point is common for "one-shots" like this (which still often have "#1" on the cover...

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Video Game Coming

I skipped the Kickstarter for Kingmaker, but I might go in on this one.

Critical Role Here's The Cover Of The Explorer's Guide to Wildemount; Plus It's #15 In Amazon Bestsellers!

I know! Even for a RPG comment thread, this is an amazingly wrongheaded post. I thought it was sarcasm for the first couple of sentences.

Nominate your MOST ANTICIPATED RPG of 2020

Looking over my Kickstarter pledges (apologies for any duplicates my skimming of the thread didn't uncover): They Came From Beneath the Sea! - Onyx Path Publishing Night Shift: Veterans of the Supernatural Wars - Elf Lair Games Thousand-Year-Old Vampire - Dear Leader Games Unspeakable: Sigil &...

Nominate your MOST ANTICIPATED RPG of 2020

"A few rules: It must be a standalone tabletop RPG, NOT a supplement, setting, adventure, sourcebook, expansion, or accessory. If there is a QuickStart version, or a preview, it’s the full release that counts. It must be due out to the general public in 2020. It must be nominated by at least...

TSR In Forgotten Lawsuit, TSR Sued Wizards of the Coast

I was in the same boat, but I was a teenager skipping lunch to use my parents' lunch money on games (and comic books)! There were so many books (and boxed sets!) that sounded like they'd be awesome, I'd sit there poring over the TSR (and White Wolf) catalogs agonizing over which ones I could...

Werewolf: the Apocalypse 5th Edition Trailer

Why do you keep trying to steer these threads into political territory? This isn't the first time you've tried to derail a thread. You know the rules around here. There's plenty of precedent for a larger game company contracting a smaller company for development (e.g., Kobold Press and...

D&D 5E (2014) The Return of Tyranny of Dragons: First Impressions

I had no problem with this article--maybe because I came in after they altered the headline--but on top of this phenomenon they've also had several "interviews" lately with no actual interviews in them. Strange journalistic choices going around.
