    Are Ghosts Real? (a poll)

The scientific method has been applied to pretty much every supernatural phenomena you can think of, hundreds of times. There's a reason there's no proof of this stuff. Who was it? James Randi? I can’t remember who but somebody offered a million dollars to anybody who could show the existence...

    Are Ghosts Real? (a poll)

I used to get that quite a lot. It used to take the form of an intruder into the bedroom, and me not being able to move. It's quite horrible. It hasn't happened in a few years though.

    Are Ghosts Real? (a poll)

I don't know if it's funny, but it certainly provides an insight into human psychology.

Maps Feature on D&D Beyond Becomes Free to Use

I'm focusing exactly the right amount on the creator spotlight part. Like I said, I've heard it a dozen times before.

OSR Publishing my own B/X & OSE Variant (in line with Dolmenwood or Shadowdark)

FWIW every other word being in italics just throws me out of any kind of reading rhythm and makes me start doing Shatner impressions. More importantly, it makes the text really hard to parse. Might just be me though.

Forgotten Realms Books to Have Several Digital DLCs, Including One Featuring Asterion

Wow. This is not a thread about the Forgotten Realms, is it? In fact, when I squint, I'm sure I can see people debating a whole bunch of things which are not suitable for this forum. If you want to talk about world hunger or the philosophical nature of evil or climate change or eating meat, go...

And not being gatekeepy. Picking creators to highlight (and, by definition, creators not to highlight) is never a good idea if you are the de facto controller of the market. It's just another form of control.

I guess if people keep doing weird things like standing in front of your house and taking pictures of it, you might as well try and monetise it.

    Are Ghosts Real? (a poll)

Sure, but noises in the night aren't magic. They're just things you can't explain.

Maps Feature on D&D Beyond Becomes Free to Use

I feel like I've heard that a dozen times before over the last decade or two. Plus DMsG Adepts again under a different name (and it was a terrible idea the first time round)? I'll wait and see.

    Are Ghosts Real? (a poll)

I’m so sorry. I’ve been there twice before and it’s the worst.

    Are Ghosts Real? (a poll)

Also a logical fallacy known as “god of the gaps”. I don’t understand it, therefore it is magic/god/ghosts/aliens etc. it’s actually quite an arrogant mistake—the assumption that if you can’t explain it, that can’t be your ignorance, it can only be magic.
