Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - Season 3 Viewing (Spoilers)

But just changing the writing would have solved that problem.

Sure. He can say that. At which point Spock should reply "Yes, you do. You do not have the authority to put Starfleet lives at risk and override Starfleet procedures. We are stepping outside to make the call."

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - Season 3 Viewing (Spoilers)

In other news, my Gorn theory… The type of Gorn in Arena (in TOS) is a new type which comes from a human-Gorn fusion resulting from Batel’s infection. Though I have heard some folks point out that the Arena Gorn is called a Gorn by the (Metrons?) not by the Enterprise crew, and Kirk’s log...

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - Season 3 Viewing (Spoilers)

Also “I don’t answer to Starfleet” or whatever it was Korby said when arguing whether to stay or go. When you’re part of a Starfleet away team, from a Starfleet starship, using Starfleet equipment and resources, risking Starfleet officers’ lives…. yes, you do answer to Starfleet. And why were...

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - Season 3 Viewing (Spoilers)

Oh they’re setting him up with a whole pile of reasons. Killing the Klingon, his daughter, etc. Any one of them would be enough to get him drummed out of Starfleet, so I guess he gets off lightly with a demotion to McCoy’s assistant?

So Korby... he came aboard as Chapel's date for the Federation centennial event thing... but then he never left? Has he now just joined the Enterprise crew? Can you do that by just hanging around and not leaving, eventually they forget you're not part of the crew? The event was at Starbase 1...

    Ranking the Star Treks

Nah, it's not flawless. I love it, and it's the best Trek in a long, long, long time, but there are things about it which bug me.

    Ranking the Star Treks

I watch it at least once a year. It may be in my top 5 films of all time.

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - Season 3 Viewing (Spoilers)

Nah. Lots of characters have been played by multiple people. While I agree that Doohan is the best Scotty, it’s not just because he was the first any more than Lewis Wilson is the best Batman because he was the first. Same for Sean Connery and a hundred others. Such as Pike—the best version of...

Check Out The Mutants & Masterminds 4E Playtest

I’ve bought the PDF because I want to give it a whirl. I might see if I can run a one-shot or short campaign. Only thing is as far as I can see it doesn’t include an adventure. Anybody got a recommendation for a free M&M adventure I could use with this ruleset?

    Ranking the Star Treks

This is my ranking of the various Treks. If I miss any, it's because I have not seen it (I'm not big on cartoons; no you won't be the special person who magically talks me out of that; don't waste your time). For the purposes of this, I also divided movies into 3 categories--TOS movies, TNG...
