I know it will be while until we get to Dragon 290 and have plenty of fun memories to reflect on as we read @M.T. Black ’s articles but I’m reading 290 tonight and had me smiling….and wishing like many we had something like this that still around and commercially successful enough to have it happen.

I picked up a nice copy from eBay, complete with the castle, so I can build it myself :)

I’m guessing the castle is more sized for the older 25mm metal minis and doesn’t line up well with the heroic 28 or 32mm sized minis we are used to now. I remember bringing some out and the minis were visually too big to go through doors and the ceilings were too low for a 2 story building.

Guess I’d need my hero labs account again to keep up with it like I did with the pathfinder 1e. Or is it that complicated? The 1e was due to the 2k feats back then.

I did not know Wizkids had battlemech/mech warrior at one time. Quick google search and the ownership still seem convoluted with topps holding part and the videos games to another. Topps….another company I kept in business as a kid, teenager with all major sports trading cards.

A good idea for a box set to a new game so I can see what’s it’s about and try it without buying the books and finding out that way. Nicely done!

From my middle school days and reading way to many Thor comics, I enjoyed seeing Thor statted up cause I then went searching for Hercules to see who would win like in the comics :) simplistic and childlike to say the least at that time in my childhood. I did the same with marvel rpg and Thor...

The army painter speed paints 2.0 have plenty of reviews on YouTube to give you some context or comparisons to other companies like the contrast paints from citadel.

Disagree…a certain type of player might enjoy it but I do not think his style would appeal to the masses that make it commercially successful (Ie most player enjoy the game like 5e players/buyers).

Much better thread to interact with than all the various threads making headlines in our hobby. Painting is such a relaxing part of the hobby. Nice paint job up thread, nicely done!

Up 5% over the last 5 days (3 points from 62 to 65)…big whoop….and not something I say was “surging” by any stretch of the word. And looking at some replies…a few more people to add to the ignore list….my win!

I already had the books from about a year ago but I’m glad it’s an available on dndbeyond now as I get older, easier on the easier to read on the 13in iPad screen. And now knowing I won’t “lose” it makes it an even better decision.
