Seems likes it doing well on its first day. 540 backers and 160k. I’m sure someone will post the typical Kickstarter curve but I’ll guesstimate 600k at the end. I don’t think it hits 1M cause of how the pledge levels are arranged and no pdf format.

I wonder if Ray had much say in the pledge levels…seeing them sucked the air out of this for me. Like @Greg K mentioned above, it would be great to select in a pledge manager to pick things I don’t have. At least I got a couple weeks to decide if I want to back it.

Although I just noticed no pdfs available, just the entire range being reprinted plus some dice and such at the higher pledge range.

Looks interesting and almost seems like a video game trailer in that clip than a story set in dnd. Not sure I understand what each episode is supposed to be yet from the limited details we have so far.

I have my 2e boxed set and need to find that foiled cover 3e book. What I’m hoping for is new adventures to come out eventually or stats for new heroes and villains that have been introduced since the last book. Granted I could easily just grab a comic series like a Hush and use it as a story...

It is up to almost 4K in followers that signed up on Kickstarter. I can see 1M easy and if it’s just a reprint to get it back in circulation, profit margins are bigger than having to create the system/game for a typical rpg Kickstarter with development costs and such.

I’ll be picking it up for sure.
