Those Kobold press map tiles look nice for a quick set piece encounter….and on sale at noble knight ta boot! Edit - Picked up the last Map Tiles Dungeon from Noble knight a couple minutes ago although I see they still have a couple other kobold press tiles in different genres in stock.

I had to break out my DC heroes stuff but I didn’t have the GL sourcebook….something I missed at the time for a GL fan.

We did a few one shots for MSH and DC Heroes to break up the D&D, MERP, pathfinder fantasy routine but nothing like a story or campaign. As teenagers, all 4 of us read comics, now only 2 of us still do so it’s mainly for youthful nostalgia for the one shots and those are fun enough for us now.

Signed up to be notified. My friends and I started with Marvel rpg, then DC Heroes and then D&D after their parents got over the satanic panic reservations back then.

Nice looking bundle and the art does indeed have the feel of a Conan/pulp vibe. Checking it out now on drive thru rpg.

I might be misunderstanding the sorter turns like B/X part….cause your character or fighter can only attack once every round for 7 levels…or do like old school games that had porters and treasure carriers and mercenaries that were need to fill out a part to 8 for an adventure?

Neil Newbon is fun to watch and he seems like he’s played the game. That might be common knowledge but just I didn’t know he already has been playing the game.

Maybe not “idiots” but those were fun sessions to watch and listen too and they played well off each other.

I downloaded the 52 page quick start rules for Conan. Decent first read through on if it appealed to me. The flex die might take some table time if I like it or not. Glad it was shared on here as I wouldn’t have known otherwise. Heck I might back just to get some more Conan minis :)

I wish audible had half credit cause using a credit on a 3 hour book seems like a waste of a credit when normal, none Sanderson and Martin novel is 10-15 hours typically. Might be a 7.95 purchase instead or whatever the price might be to buy.
