Maybe I am mixing up various play test surveys from Wotc but I thought a couple of times the surveys asked about feat usage, but I could be off but if it was then 5000 (or whatever the replies were) and x amount say they used them might steer them toward a design goal is my guess.

Just anecdotal numbers, for those who think D&D is not selling well due to Mearls vague conclusion and bookscan erroneous numbers. I took a screen shot of dndbeyond forum on March 26th of this year and looked just now and the total Members (ie created accounts) went up by 106k in the time...

I had skipped Journey but with the feedback from people on here after the dragon book mentions it and how the gods breath was cool, I picked up the digital version to read through….thanks all for the feedback on it.

The episode was uploaded to YouTube yesterday (Friday 4/11) and has 29k views. About 2.5 hours in length. I’m just now starting it and leaving it running while I do things around the house. A couple players look like they may be wearing costumes from Burgschneider site...

I believe I still have my original copy…read any of it….not that I can remember. I bought it thinking it would be like Undermountain on steroids but I grew out of that style of game play before I bought it but didn’t know it.

Well considering most are basing it on Mike mearls vague and uninformed sales data comments and running with it, yes an odd take by mearls, and we have Wotc and now Chris Perkins saying it’s selling great. I’d rather believe those with the sales data for now until we see the actual sales data...

I was struggling to read them if the picture wasn’t slightly enlarged. If I was 10 years younger, I’d enjoy them and the aesthetic but not so much now with the reading glasses at the table :)

I had not heard of Iomandra as we were playing PF at the time but looking at the web archive of the old wizards site, looks interesting and it would be cool to see it in print as a campaign book or as a dmsguild publication like Ed does for FR locations and lore.

Kind of an odd take given the lack of public facing info and that Chris even said it was selling like gang busters and he was going out on top with it and 50th anniversary.

Well dang, grats for retirement but I’ll miss his style and guidance. He’d be a DM I wish I could play a few sessions with as I’ve enjoyed the Acq Inc 4th and 5th edition live plays on YouTube.
