Dang it, I was going to go since work had my up in Indy but just found out today I have a change of plans….hope everyone has fun that goes!

Hopefully others have been reading Mike’s design notes and subclasses. Also the monster design sounds interesting and one I’m looking forward to trying.

Coming back to update as they are tentatively scheduled to release this month….and I just ended up buying a brick of 8 boxes for this set. I haven’t did that since around 2016ish for a brick. So I hope I don’t get a bunch of repeats but whatever I don’t get and still want, I’ll pick up off...

I hadn’t been paying attention to the mini based kickstarters but company looks like they do some nice minis and use that siocast method…any feedback from anyone on the detail and forgiveness of their minis?

The UK Royal Mail,site says it ships world wide, so I’ve got to pick up a sheet and frame it next to the US stamps!

Decent drop off from the 5k estimate a week ago for the last “month” time frame….but still 3k after 10 years on the market is amazingly good sales!

With work I had forgotten about this but glad to see it made the goal and then some, up to 582k when I checked today.

I didn’t watch the videos at the bottom yet but in most of their OAR books, they included the original and the 5e or DCC converted adventure. Is that the case for this one and if so, does the added material only apply to the converted portion? This adventure appeals to the mid 80s gamer in me...

And looking at the pdf, not to steal Mike’s thunder in future Patreon posts, but the rogue shadow bound subclass reads like a fun class to play!

Just noticed on the minigallery site a new set call Retun of the Dragons for December 2024 release and those dragon minis don’t look like the new depictions for young age, at least the green and blue don’t.

No, I looked to see if there was a different way to input things like that but I don’t see any unfortunately.

PHB is ranked 325th with Amazon saying 5k bought or read in the last month. the TCK site I’ve used for estimates was calculating 4702 in the last month so it was decently close.

I’m reading through the 5e pdf now, nice production valves and the read captures the feel for LoTR to me.

I’m looking forward to Mikes take on the ranger after his ranger subclass design post today. Let it be known, my first character was as a 16 year old kid who named his first ever AD&D character, a ranger, Aragorn. Who as a ranger went along with his group at 8th or so level to clear a forest...

I’m coming in after 63 pages but I think it’s a good thing Drivethrurpg is trying to do. Creators should get paid compared to a work derived by key words and art that AI does 90% or more of the work.

I’m thinking….cool future different looking dragon minis…I hope!
