If WoTC knew this was going to be a problem, why stick with it when they could done what other RPGs did with Cleric archetypes? Both PF and Level Up created archetypes that didn't focus completely on a clerical domain.

How many of you stick around on a thread where the participants are posters you happen to know, or happen to be familiar with?

That would be pretty time consuming given the page length of certain threads on this site.

Is there a way to find out who participated in a given thread on EN World and how often?

A simple verbal use of the word Depends would have sufficed here. :p It's too early in the morning to decently respond to a pun. :p

There are also times where posters pick sides on a particular topic.

Plus, you have to deal with the spellcaster who has the means to bring back that horse through arcane or divine magic.

Dragon Magazine #301. The article was Campaign Components: Swashbucklers.

There was a Dragon magazine article during the 3e era where you could make a Swashbuckler from any of the classes in D&D. The article offered suggestions on which feats and prestige classes you would need to give a particular class that swashbuckler feel.

Their class concept. Of the three, the Gunslinger seems to be the most obvious. They're a martial that relies on firearms of various kinds. To me, the Sentinel sounds like a martial that focuses on defense. As for the Champion, I am not sure what kind of martial they could be in Level Up. But...

What can you tell us about the Champion, the Gunslinger and the Sentinel?
