The 2e era Lankmar box set is a complete AD&D starter set. It had some slightly diffrent rules than regular 2e including the lower magic but what I most remember was you could sprain your ankle from falling damage. I should probably pull it out of storage and see how it hold up.

Im always down for a no caster party. We played a lot of 2e with just fighters and thief's using the various kits from the complete books. That style of play has stuck with me.
