As this was my first exposure to Paladin I'm OK with the horse....

So I don't own shadowdark yet but I backed the Kickstarter for a copy. Does the weapons listed mean a Paladin can't use a dagger or a mace?

That's the philosophy I've adopted. If it's good enough it will get a 2nd edition. The problem is if everyone does this no one will buy the first edition.

Posted where? The Kickstarter page? My plan is to convert my low magic no divine magic 5e hombrew world to Shadowdark once I get it so Barbarian was a better fit. Hopefully the spell caster is anything but psion. That was the one I'm least interested in.
