Was it simplified? For example did it still have Weapon Mastery?

Does it say anywhere if you can level? I read through it but maybe I missed it. More interested to see if they do 3 or 5 levels. I mean it say 60 hours of Adventure so roughly 12 sessions which would be 3rd the way I give XP but I think im the exception.

I was really hoping after Alien RPG and Blade Runner RPG they would hit up another Ridley Scott project and we would get a Thelma and Luis the RPG.

This sounds like the start of a horror movie. But I don't trust the English countryside and random guest houses from the 80s. Thats both 1980s and the 1880s for the record. Also maybe it just means the price is for double occupancy in the rooms, but multiple rooms so more than 2 players.

I've seen only a smattering of random updates? Did people get to play the new D&D Starter Set? What was the biggest announcement? Was Spelljammer Confirmed?

My last 5e campaign went about 130 sessions. When your PC died the new one started at half XP of your last charachter. I also tracked XP ( milestones are not for me) so if you missed a session you fell behind. At somepoint we had a range of levels a few 6th, some 7th and one 8th. It worked.

I mean actual physical monsters? A few time. Moraly corrupt and reprehensible individuals. A bunch. In the late 80s Dungeon Magazine had a 1e adventure where you played orcs, goblins, and such but it was done for laughs. I've seen other " momster " one shots. Im sure the Forgoten Realms box...

My old apartment complex had a great common room that we used. For LA the place had amazing parking for guests. In Phoenix we played in a game store.

The hex map looks cool. And I like its a sandbox. But personally a combination of sandbox play and Feels like its geared more towards veteran GM. I also could be completely underestimating kids...

I thought the Dark Crystal rpg was actually pretty good. I was expecting a Railrosd but Its basically a big hex crawl.
