I dunno what exacly you mean by "engine", but there are severam virtual tabletops that run encounters. I'd suggest Maptools, Masterplan and Fantasygrounds, being the first two free and the last one paid.

These look grat, congrats. I've been looking for something like this for a while, and though I found some great stuff, i had no luck finding a template! I'd really appreciate if you could make other sizes of it, so that I can make large, huge and gargantuan monsters! Thanks a bunch!
