    Recruiting Into the World CLOSED

Okey-dokey. I dunno if there's still room or not, but if so... Name: Malixus Stats: Str 10 Dex 14 Con 12 Int 18 Wis 8 Cha 8 Skills: Concentration 1, Knowledge (Arcana) 2, Knowledge (the Planes) 1, Spellcraft 1 History: Malixus was the son of the local village wise woman. As he grew older, he...

    That'd be fine.

Adventures Across Khorvaire - Chapter 1: Reflections

"Is that pessimism or optimism I hear in your voice there, Se'ket?" asks Kamarna'darak, with a slight smirk. Turning to the others, he gets a bit more serious, and states, "I don't know much about medicine and whatnot, so I'll just stand here and watch. Sven should probably be the one to go for...

    Recruiting Into the World CLOSED

I'm in; probably going for wizard. Would there be an opportunity for him to train at a Wizard Academy of some sort, prior to level 1? I'd like to pick up the Collegiate Wizard and Precocious Apprentice feats (from here).

PrC trade hit points for spell levels?

Perhaps he's thinking of the Tainted Sorceror, or its predecessor from Oriental Adventures.

Stacking question, Giant Size + Expansion

I think that's stupid; they address the issues you're raising perfectly well. You cast one spell, and resolve its effects. You then cast another spell, and resolve its effects. If someone casts Polymorph to turn them into a bear, and then cast Animal Growth on themselves, they become a bigger...

Stacking question, Giant Size + Expansion

I'd allow it. I'd also happily use it against the PCs; I tend to enjoy min/maxing my NPCs, and turnabout is fair play.

    D&D 4E 4E "Return to" adventures

Rot grubs would be totally nerfed if they showed up in 4e. Their nasty tendency to strike by surprise and horribly kill your PC would totally clash with 4e's design philosophy.

    D&D 4e game?

Well, because the game wouldn't be a simple convention dungeon delve by virtue of its medium, and because it helps weed out the folks who tipe liek dis. ;)

    D&D 4e game?

There has been someone stating their intention for each character, though only the Wizard, Cleric, and Ranger have had their characters approved. If you want to play, you'd have to pick one of the other three.

    D&D 4e game?

Great. It's approved now. Pinotage: What you've written for your background so far is excellent. Keep up the same quality for the rest, and you'll be approved, too.

That was because, at the time, I didn't realise there was a difference. :\

Gauging interest in a Xen’drik Campaign

None; the only prerequisite is "any Item Creation feat". Also, would taking Character Flaws and Traits be acceptable? Can I get an Item Familiar?

    D&D 4e game?

Rolzup's take on Skamos is approved. renau1g's take on Riardon is tenatively approved; please edit in some paragraph spacing into your history. Walls of text are distracting to read.

    D&D 4e game?

*sighs* This is the sort of thing that annoys me. Please post in complete, grammatically correct sentences. This isn't a chat room; you have time to fully type out entire sentences. Omitting periods, misusing commas, and making run-on sentence fragments are all very annoying. Besides which...

    Monster stat list

I dunno about the bandit's XP; I was just copying what I was seeing on the boards, for the most part, though I did go over the images I saw to get some of the stats. As for the Dwarven Warlord, you're mixing up the name of his attacks with the attack bonus. He doesn't have +3 to hit; he's...

    "Mad scientist" / Artificer class?

There's a class in d20 Past that does what you're looking for, apparently. I've never read the book myself, and it's not DnD (it's d20 Modern), but it'd be worth a look.

Gauging interest in a Xen’drik Campaign

It's a general feat that reduces item creation costs by 25% when you are using a particular item creation feat. It can be selected multiple times; each time it applies to a different item creation feat.
