FR to look like a Roger Dean painting

I don't like this. To me, Fantasy should look fantastical. Whether it's because there's mile-high skyscrapers and airships, or improbably geological formations, it should still invoke that feeling of wonder.

    Summon Monster II

Unless it appears wearing its armor. Other summons do, after all.

    D&D 4E 5th edition - 2015? Or is 4ed the last?

    1. Neural interfaces. You brain thinks your legs are moving, but they aren't. 2. Giant ball-treadmill. It can rotate in any direction, so you can walk without going anywhere.

Will we ever see AD&D Third Edition

That happened. About a decade ago. Have you been hiding under a rock or something? This board wouldn't exist if it didn't. And the core setting was Greyhawk, by the way.

    Summon Monster II

Being war-trained is still advantegous, however, in that it would then be proficient with any and all types of armor.

    Template for a troll

*rolls eyes at third party material* Let's try to do this properly, shall we? Let's see... Petitioner would work. The party would need to go to the Petioner's home plane somewhere in the Outer Planes, though. A DR 0 troll would work as well, though you'd want an explanation as to why the party...

    Adventure Across Khorvaire - Reflections

My character grew up in Sharn, but is unlikely to have met him growing up; he's got pretty firm middle-class roots, and he is a member of a Dragonmarked House. He might have met him once he starting going to university, though. I will point out, though, that my character does have a scroll of...

    Adventure Across Khorvaire - Reflections

Maybe Kamarna'darak and Sek'et met on the Lightning Rail ride over from Sharn? I wouldn't be surprised if the University booked them on the same car to save money.

    Detect Evil on an Embryo

I'm pretty sure the Draconomicon states that true dragons are intelligent, even before they hatch. If it's old enough to move about inside the egg (which, by the way, tends to mean that it's about to hatch), it'd be old enough to think and reason, and therefore possess an alignment. I'll also...

    Hemispherical Wall of Ice

Perhaps the save is for those trapped under the ice, not inside it? Unlike a Wall of Force, a Wall of Ice creates a physical object of non-negligible thickness.

    Adventure Across Khorvaire - Reflections

At first level? You have 5, unless you've taken the feat that gives you 2 more per level.

What made you realize you were facing COD-zilla?

    A giant nuclear-powered fish monster?

    Adventure Across Khorvaire - Reflections

Eberron doesn't have subraces, other than the drow (and people in-world classify them as an entirely seperate race).

    Low level Soul Stealing

Go to the Lower Planes and buy them off of the local fiends. Alternately, go to the Upper Planes, and start nabbing petitioners while trying to dodge the local celestials.

    Adventure Across Khorvaire - Reflections

I personally hope my character and the druid get in; he's likely to alternate between trying to get into her pants and philosophical discussions. As a student of dead civilizations, he's convinced that while a Spring would follow the Winter, it would not be a Spring meant for humans. Just as...

    Is This How Elves Live?

Oh, come on. Elven generations are only about a hundred years apart at most. There's be dozens of generations between the strapping young elves of today, and the elves of the founding of elven society, however many thousands of years ago.

    Adventure Across Khorvaire - Reflections

I'm not the GM, but I'm pretty sure you'd need to rework your character sheet to lower her back down to level 1, like the original post said. You'd also have 4 more points to spend on ability scores. That said, Kamarna would be more than happy to work beside you. Ancient ruins are often...

    D&D 4E The 4E Rogue...love it or hate it?

Don't forget the two weapon fighter and the archer.

Gauging interest in a Xen’drik Campaign

I'd be interested, if the game's still alive. A human artificer that specializes in antiquities. He'd probably be decked out with custom magic items made with the item creation rules, though, and I'd like to take the Magical Artisan feat from Player's Guide to Faerun. Would that be okay?

D&D 4E The 4e rogue: Good power names!!

Eh. I like them. They don't have the sort of flavor that names like Heavenly Guardian Defense or Seven Shadows Evasion do, though. Both of which are from Exalted, by the way.
