Would the same be true of a large monk?

Do monks of sizes other than medium do different damage? If so, where do I find the different damages based upon size? Does it work like weapon dice damage for monsters of different sizes?

If I were to limit cantrips, I think I'd go with 4 slots per day and be done. Maybe allow casters to spend a hit die after a short rest to recover a cantrip slot? Not sure, there.

Thanks, Paraxis. I found the relevant language in column 1 of page 173 of the PHB or page 57 of the Basic Rules, where it clearly explains that attack rolls and saving throws are not ability checks.

Why wouldn't it apply to attacks with weapons your character wasn't proficient in using?

Before I gave proficiency with all saves to all characters, I'd instead allow players to pick two good saves for their characters, instead of taking the default save proficiencies each class offers.

Yes. As the others have said, E6 was a houserule variant for 3.5 in which character level progression stopped at 6th level and feats were awarded every 5,000 XP thereafter.

Prior to 5E, I'd always preferred spell points for the flexibility. But, the way 5E's spells are written, I don't find any need for spell slots to be the main way to handle things. I like 5E's default spellcasting system just fine, as is.
