Could you show us a preview of a monster or two? Have you done anything differently with how large monsters work? One of the things that always bothered me in wfrp was stuff like giants having a bunch of attacks that usually missed. It just seemed an odd way of representing them.
looking good
Will there be any guidelines for running the game with lower tech levels than warhammer assumes? I strongly prefer a medieval game with no guns.
The allowance is the player's own choices. If you're bored and want to fight, there's plenty to fight. It only takes one player to throw down to get initiative rolls going.
From looking at the new module I assume they've done a 180 on this. There is a lot of exploration, negotiation, and scenery to chew on. You could probably talk and/or stealth your way through the whole thing if you really tried.
I'm kind of surprised since they moved the date to later in August this year and some people couldn't attend because their schools had already begun. I almost didn't go because of that. Schools in my area started the week of gencon. I went but I had to leave the rest of the family home this year.
I'm really looking forward to taking a look at the new phb at gencon this week. Making the basic book free really gets rid of the last barrier to getting my group to give it a try.
