The Day Has Come! It's An OGL! And A Store To Buy & Sell D&D 5E Products!

The way I'm reading it is that artwork is treated exactly the same as the text (so you'll have to own the piece in question*, and you'll be sharing it exclusively with the DMsGuild). Or as they put it: "You're free to choose from the library of art and maps that we'll be providing, or you can...

The Day Has Come! It's An OGL! And A Store To Buy & Sell D&D 5E Products!

OK, so to answer my own question regarding the 'open content' nature of any art/maps appearing in a DMGuild product... "You're free to choose from the library of art and maps that we'll be providing, or you can create or commission your own. Paying for art and maps that you commission is your...

The Day Has Come! It's An OGL! And A Store To Buy & Sell D&D 5E Products!

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question (or if it's already been asked) - but how does this affect artwork appearing in 3rd party DMGuild products? For example, lets say that a publisher commissions me to draw a map of a little village and a dungeon for their DMGuild adventure - are those maps...

    Old-school dungeon map tutorial

After receiving a couple of requests on how to draw old-school dungeon maps (like the one pictured below) I thought I would try my hand at writing a quick tutorial with the aim of doing just that. Anyway, I think I might have made it sound way more complicated than it actually is, but if...

    Cheap fantasy minis!

If you're using Blogger you just need to hit the add button on your blogger home page (it's on the left hand side ...and I have to admit that I hadn't actually noticed it until a few minutes ago :) ) and insert the URL of the blog you'd like to follow, and it'll show up in your stream as normal...

    Cheap fantasy minis!

As a slight aside, I've just discovered pictures of these warg riders on someone's blog, which might also be of interest: http://slag-productions.blogspot.co.uk/p/blog-page_25.html I think I'm going to see if I can hold of a box of these myself ...though I can't seem to find any in the UK at...

    Cheap fantasy minis!

I'd certainly be interested! Oh and nice mini's by the way. I haven't really got into painting much myself this year, but it's posts like this that make me want to dig out a few minis and splash some paint on them again :)

    What is Minecraft about, anyway?

I have to admit that I've put some serious hours into minecraft (PC version), and despite its rather basic graphics it can still be quite beautiful at times.
