    City Adventures

The best one I have run is Death in Freeport. Here are my observations about city vs wilderness or dungeon adventuring... 1) The map really isn't all that important. You just need to know the general direction things are in, how long it takes to get someplace, and what places surround the...

    Game Outfitter Experiences

They have a good rep on all the D&D Mini boards. However, be forwarned that they tend to run out of stock. In the past if you have not pre-ordered very early then you have to wait for the '2nd wave' of product which could be 6-8 wks after the initial release date. If you are wanting Giants of...

I have Summon Monster Stat Blocks, and Summun Natures Ally Stat blocks on my web page. And if you don't like the stat block formatting you can download my Monster program which lets you select a monster and apply a Fiendish or Celestial template and then output a statblock that is user...

The Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh - your experiences?

Its a good adventure that I have run numerous times. Actually I was going to say the module is way to rich. Most likely the PCs will end up with a ship, its cargo, a bunch of platinum pieces, and the gratitude of a town. Plus they could end up with a Psuedo Dragon.

How much is a D&D mini worth?

From $1 to $7, I might pay $8 for a Huge. Why do you ask? I have never payed more than $7 for a D&D Mini and many of them have cost considerably less. EBay is a viable option, several online places sell singles and if you purchase a significant amount then the shipping becomes less of a...

    Is Fantasy changing?

I don't think there is a drastic change in fantasy. Heck I think it is closer to its roots than it was in 1980. In the 80s Star Wars was the premier influence on 'fantasy', sure its sci-fi but it has lots of fantasy elements in it. Now we have LoTR, Warcraft, Everquest, and D&D fiction books...

    Warcraft III help

Yeah, thats a tough one. My 5 yr old that I play with was about ready to give up, I think it took us 4 tries. I also put lots of Zigs in front of the two entrances. I then backed each up with a couple of meat wagons.

What do you use D&D minis for and why do you buy them?

RPG Only. I have lots of lead minis from the 80s, but only about 5-10% are painted. The paint jobs and sculpts are getting better, I can let my 5 yr old boy play with them, there easy to transport, and their cost is relatively cheap. So, do I wish they weren't random? Sure, but I'll trade...

What do you use D&D minis for and why do you buy them?

If you are patient and persistent you can get good deals on ebay. The other tactic is to buy one box for every rare that you want and then trade, this will be more and more viable as the Uncommon and Commons get better and better.

What Happens when a Fire Elemental is Dropped in Water?

Well according to the rules nothing would happen. They are vulnerable to cold, not water. Since water is an impassable barrier, how about he sinks and can take no actions while immersed.

    Who is Shadrach

True: he didn't eat the non-kosher food. True: He was thrown into the furnace and survived. However, he was not thrown in the furnace because he didn't eat the food. He was thrown in the furnace because he refused to bow down and worship a statue of Nebuchadnezzer.
