My house-rule for squads of casters is allowing them to upcast spells. So they won't have access to higher level spells, but upcasting Sleep would be on the table. Still doesnt make it all that effective at the levels you'd be fighting such things at, but it's something. Narratively it's sort...

Well they've been dealing with 5e for 10 years, it's sort of ingrained into the brain.. you think of "how you'd do things better" but that's generally going to be a modification of what you're working with, not coming up with something entirely new.

Which section/rules/articles are you referring to on the Vaults of Pandius site? Not sure what to look for, the place is a treasure trove of info.

It is so. I think the common wisdom is "people that're going to buy it, will buy it. People that're going to pirate it weren't going to be customers anyway." IMO by refusing PDFs they're just making it less convenient for their customers, they're not really losing out $$ from illicit sources...

With WotC I doubt it but, unless they drastically change their stance on PDFs but I suppose hope springs eternal 😅

Could a blinded creature, or targeting someone in a fog cloud etc. target another creature with a spell like Hold Person? In 5e, unless a creature is deliberately hiding via using an action to stealth, you can still hear the creature and know its whereabouts to attack it. But A5E's target says...
