With the way spells work, im not sure a nwn style would work all that well. I think a turn based strategy rpg would work better.

Do planescape and spelljammer need their own seperate books? I think they are fun, but have always seemed as add ons compared to darksun or ebberon. Im also still hoping they take some pieces out of the mystic and turn them into subclasses for fighter, rogue, etc.

I dont mind this subclass in theory. It sounds ok. But mearls just rambled in the video. It really put me off how he kept trying to attach alignment to the subclass.

From what i saw the last time i checked. They are just cramming way too much in one class. They need to take some of this stuff into other classes. Soulknife should go rogue, and i heard they were gonna male a sohei subclass for the fighter but either delayed it or scrapped it. The mystic needs...

Man, so many downers on this thread. Is your player causing real problems in the game because of this? If so then just say no. But, if you can create hooks or some filler that doesnt get in the way, go for it. #Hedeaditsminenow

UA are playtest articles and are not official. I dont allow them in my games. I allow feats and multiclassing, but so far nobody has mced yet. Then again my players dont really go for the meta, but for fun for them. Im very lackluster for the most part on the upcoming book but ill let it be used...

I start my games at lvl2 with 0xp. I tend to enjoy dming lvls 5 to 11 myself.
