The sword and board is a strong option for pallys as well. Most of their dpr is from smites and with self healing they are super tanky, or atleast for 5e.

Nope, shes just a magic item that honestly isnt all that strong when shes statted out.

Thats not a good reason. His stats have changed with the editions. As a fighter his asis would have been better spent than trying to mimic a thirty year old system. If your gonna portray him as a marysue badass in the novels, maybe his stats should mimic that.

If this is an actual picture of the builder it has either has some math bugs or maybe you have to put the numbers in yourself.
