    Iron Heros

I like much of the flavour and appreciate the design. However, as I find out more, I am finding that the increase in tactical options, complexity and game elements is more than I expected or wanted. As such, I am going to wait to see exactly what the new changes entail.

    True 20 for Iron Kingdoms

I agree. I still keep the adjustments as player seem to like them. However, they have very little impact except on the min/max. My apologies. I tried to make them clear. I am reluctant to post material from the IK or True 20 books. Not only is it copyright but it also saves me time. Some of...

Blue Rose (with some True20) Lord of the Rings

Just a note that hero points in M&M2e are the same as in true 20 (though not Blue Rose) in that they now provide a reroll and add 10 if the second result is 10 or less. As such, the result is 11-20 and it isn't a straight +10.

    True 20 for Iron Kingdoms

Yep. I tried to keep changes to the IK text consistent with the IK text (so a +2 rather than a +1, even though a +1 is the final result). I hope it isn't too confusing.

    True 20 for Iron Kingdoms

Cheers. True 20 is a simplified version of D20 that actually does a good job of IK, despite my initial concerns. For example, guns are now as useful as they are presented in the setting. I do note that though almost all of the above conversion can be used with just the IK books and a copy of...

    True 20 for Iron Kingdoms

CHAPTER SIX: WEALTH To convert GP to Wealth DCs simply multiple the GP cost by ten, change to $ and convert on the D20 Modern chart on page 204.

CHAPTER FIVE: MAGIC GENERAL The Armour Check Penalty from Armour also applies to any Power checks. A PC who takes the Wild Talent Feat uses Cha for that Power. A user of Wild Magic is called a SorcererA Sorcerer suffers from corruption as a Mage. A Cleric who takes the Wild Talent feat is...

CHAPTER FOUR: FEATS The following Feats are added to those available in addition to those in True 20. The Feats grant the benefit listed in the IKCG as modified below: GENERAL FEATS - Advanced Synthesis (General): Prerequisites: Society Membership (Order of the Golden Crucible). PC may...

CHAPTER TWO: CLASSES & PRESTIGE CLASSES All Classes and Prestige Classes have been replaced with True 20’s three Roles. However, many Iron Kingdom Classes and Prestige Classes have given rise to new Skills, Feats and Powers.

    True 20 for Iron Kingdoms

CHAPTER ONE: RACES GENERAL Each PC chooses a Race from the IKCG. The Races provide additional benefits to the PC at 1st level above what is granted in True 20. All Ability Adjustments set out in the IKCG are halved. The following Skills are converted to the appropriate True 20 Skill: -...

    True 20 for Iron Kingdoms

I have posted this conversion on the True 20 and Privateer Press forums and recieved a few responses. I am about to enter into a playtest phase but I am posting them here in a hope of getting some more comments.

    GP to Wealth DCs

After some examination, True 20 (what I am using) simply multiplies the GP by 10, changes to $ and then uses the D20 Modern chart. Thanks all for your help.

Does anyone know of any guidelines for converting GP costs to Wealth DCs?

    Lone Wolf RPG

The original books are available from Project Aon as set out above. If you are referring to Mongoose's OGL LW RPG then you will need to buy it. Any free copy you find will be an illegal copy.

    True20 - Skills

Few points about this approach. Before doing so, it is important to note that True 20 atcually acheives a seemingly broader skill base for PCs than it first appears. PCs can spend a Conviction Point to get Skill Training Feat for 1 round. In play, though a PC may have a small number of Known...

    Star Wars: Jedi Deflection

We play it that you can activate after the attack is declared but not after the dice is rolled. Yes. You are using the Deflect ability, except this time to attack. Defelct costs a move action in your next round. Yep. You still need to roll to hit but you can deflect blasts at other targets...

    True 20 Combat

Removing the tactical grid is IMO a significant removal of D&D's tactical side given how many abilities refer to grid use. YMMV I agree that True 20 is less precise than D&D. True 20 sacrifices the precision to remove the tactical grid and some of the book keeping elements in D&D. As mentioned...

How hard would it be to use Damage Save in a normal d20 game?

If you switch it so PCs roll both Damage and Toughness then it should work fine. However, if you also roll Damage for NPCs (the PCs not rolling Toughness), you will need to modify the Conviction Point system or suffer a bunch of untimely PC injuries IMO

    True 20 Combat

I agree that True 20 is no more logical than D&D. I find True 20 to be slightly quicker in combat especially if you removed most of the tactical elements like you have. However, my point is that I find True 20 to be a lot less tactical and bookkeeping than D&D in play from combat to PC...
