Oh, things I have picked up at Gen Con (different ones), not the run-of-the mill stuff

Been a couple of years but when I go... Wednesday is walking the halls and getting a lay of the land and then heading to The Stink to meet up with people. Thursday is the opening of the Dealer Hall, which is just window, touch and feel of things. I will make note of stuff I want and come back...

Egg timer, just something to make my players think/feel there is a time limit. It keeps them moving and thinking. I don't know what I am ever going to do if the alarm goes off. :rolleyes: ;)

Oh, any why is this always brought up? It stereotypes gamers and it should be pointed out there are stinky people everywhere that have nothing to do with gaming or being at a convention! My other is saying gamers dress up, so do fans of other events, like football! It is not exclusive!

Every now and then one will turn up, but the heat will have more to do with it these days. Gen Con has a LOT of walking and you sweat, lucky the AC is good in the convention center and people seem to practice good hygiene.

But it screws with the dump STAT of Charisma, if these are 12 or less! :rolleyes: :)

Rumor has it that Henry Cavill (Superman. Witcher, and a big fan) is looking to producing and starring in a Warhammer 40K movie.

Feeling better about it, still think he would be great as a streaming show but will be seeing it.
