Wow... I had a subscription to Dragon for a number of years. That issue is in my crawlspace somewhere.

By the same token, it's often the case that someone who favours spellcasting Rangers mentions the Scout as an option. If one considers the Scout to be what people picture when they think of a spell-less Ranger, they are quite wrong.

I like the word... evocative, but yeah what does it mean? There's a post from 2002 here on ENWorld referencing the term referring back to a 1E/2E game!
