It's not the mechanics I fear for, it's the setting. The mechanics of Ravenloft were okay (I didn't like the changes to Power Checks), but they destroyed the Core as a coherent setting that White Wolf (and WotC before them) had brought together.

Considering Ravenloft and Spelljammer, I wasn't holding my breath for Dark Sun anyway. And I'm not sure how interesting a new Planescape is going to be.

Maybe they just want to thank the leakers for helping them win ...
