But less complicated than importing something into the USA, exporting it to Canada, and importing it into Canada. Tbf rocket science is easy. Its rocket engineering that is difficult.

You cant jerk proof a game. The nonjerky reason for cutting the bad guy’s speech short is that sometimes these speeches come with a ****-you last curse or spell Etc So its better to say “challenge mode on/off” than expect the players to guess.

    Shadowdark Shadowdark General Thread [+]

The main reason in detailing levels 10+ is creating super-nemesis NPCs I can see the fun in occasionally taking the double digit level party off the shelf to save or shape the world . But grinding thru superdragons and megaliches to get from 11 to 20? Hell no.

I am absolutely convinced that it is always better for the GM to say “OI ! The next adventure is “Perils in Pengewich” You are ****ing going to Pengewich” Than pull ingame shennanigans to force the party there.

Two thoughts 1. The problem isnt being put on the train. The problem is not being allowed off the train. 2. Railroads may not be fun because either failure isnt fun or failure inst allowed , so theres no real challenge. What i mean is, desperately fleeing a sandbox near tpk is kinda fun...

Because a) everyone would simply understate the value b) The tariffs are intended to be punitive and discourage imports. Any “unfairness” or “ red tape” is a feature not a bug.
