D&D 5E (2014) Cost of manning a ship (Ghosts of Saltmarsh, DMG)

It's like any job, there are masters, journeymen, apprentices etc. The crew should have a mix of these that makes sense to you.

    D&D 5E (2014) Short/Long Rest in LMoP

Forgot to mention, I have 6 players, and they were 5th level at the time.

    D&D 5E (2014) Short/Long Rest in LMoP

How funny, my group was in a similar situation. They had 2 sessions in WEC, they had not long rested, but they had defeated The Black Spider (and captured him). Outside WEC was a beefed up Glassstaff waiting for them (along with 4 red brand ruffians, 4 cultists, a half dragon, and a Bone Naga)...

Critical Role Wildemount: Most Pre-orders Since D&D Core Rulebooks

I hope this helps people understand why they did this instead of re-releasing an old setting (I'm still hoping for Spelljamer and Dragonlance at some point, but I understand)

Monte Cook Games’ Next Kickstarter Is Ptolus (for 5E and Cypher)

Litorians might have showed up in Monte's Ptolus game before AU was published, but the publication of AU predates that of Ptolus

Critical Role Wildemont <--> Tal'dorei: Relationship?

I think whatever the deal was, it has ended; Tal'Dorei is no longer listed at greenronin.com, not even the PDF is for sale. It might something completely unrelated, such as mistake or oversight, but this is also the typical outcome when this type of deals end.

    D&D 5E (2014) Am I no longer WoTC's target audience?

I have noticed this as well, but it's just a sign of the times, we're getting old. It's fine :D

Monte Cook Games’ Next Kickstarter Is Ptolus (for 5E and Cypher)

I hope they don't go the Invisible Sun luxury route. As much as I like Ptolus, I would pass on such price tag.

Monte Cook Games’ Next Kickstarter Is Ptolus (for 5E and Cypher)

My group played several AU/AE games, and we really liked everything about it. We never got to high levels though. My favorite characters to play were a Mohj Mageblade and a Ritual Warrior :D

Monte Cook Games’ Next Kickstarter Is Ptolus (for 5E and Cypher)

This will probably get funded. I will probably back it, but I feel this is a setting way more appealing for folks that have been around since the 3.x days. Next gen would have little interest in it, because Monte is probably unknown to most of the folks that started playing D&D with 5e.

Monte Cook Games’ Next Kickstarter Is Ptolus (for 5E and Cypher)

Most of the conversion would come in the form of new races, new monsters and a few adventures. No idea if they plan to include other stuff. But many products released by Malhavoc Press were set in Ptolus. Chaositech being one of them, and many adventures.

    AD&D 2E 2E Dragonlance.

Back in the day, things didn't have to be level between classes etc. IIRC the MC4 came out in 1990, and Tales of the Lance in 1992. However, how characters advance between orders was never a point of confusion, and I'm sure it was explained in the Knights of Solamnia entry. Every Sword Knight...

my whole group watches it, I think their average age is in 20s, it's cool, you got to cater to the next gen.

    Custom Miniatures In Full Colour!

Yeah, you missed the bit in my character's background about how he was one of septuple identical siblings.

    Custom Miniatures In Full Colour!

I just discovered an archer mini, just had its bow break at the handle, I have a handful of other heroforge minis without delicate parts, and those are fine. For the $30 I paid for this one, I expected it to be more durable than that.

    D&D 5E (2014) More Details About Laeral Silverhand’s Explorer’s Kit

Same reason I never liked the paizo q-workshop dice, they were unreadable :cautious:

D&D 5E (2014) Oops, Players Accidentally See Solution to Exploration Challenge

I would just suspend the game for a week or two, it would be impossible for the players to remember everything unless they took a screenshot or something

    D&D 5E (2014) More Details About Laeral Silverhand’s Explorer’s Kit

These look plastic, I think this set has more similarities to the avernus set than anything else.
