I think I understand how dice pools and damage work. At least how it works in Tales of Xadia. But what I am a bit unsure about is how a fight looks. I understand how it works if two characters are fighting each other, but how does it work if you gang up on one target?

Thanks for a great answer. I'm not exactly sure what I am looking for in a generic system yet. But what I think I want is a system where I can play most popular genres, with tactical but faster combat than DnD 5e, and that is easy for the GM to run.

For people who have played both, do you prefer the 5th edition of WoD or CoD 2e?
