Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I find those convos devolve quickly and become centered on three or four people endlessly throwing terminology at each other that I think none of them understand, and it’s usually to prove their current favorite game is the best.

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I fully admit I can be the king of petty when it comes to block lists but I can’t imagine what would cause you to be on someone’s list.

D&D General The Great Railroad Thread

If sandboxing is the opposite of railroading then it should be called off-roading. (Clicks post reply and abandons thread forever)

I really don’t know what we’re doing here any longer. Retreater didn’t like the game.

    IN REMEMBRANCE--2025

    What a damn bummer. 😞

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I think what’s been reasonably said has been said in that thread and there’s nothing left now.

    D&D General D&D: Literally Don't Understand This

All totally fair. This is why I am definitely not a marketer! 😂

    D&D General D&D: Literally Don't Understand This

I mean the tweet was relying on the alt text for the keyword to make it pop up at all in that context. How were they trying to associate it to the album? What were they trying to say about D&D? Again, I kind of think it was a throwaway tweet and this is all a mountain made out of a molehill...

    D&D General D&D: Literally Don't Understand This

Going alllllll the way back to the original few posts that started this, I question the value of any brand trying to capitalize on the name of Taylor Swift’s new album in such an oblique way. Maybe they have some sort of metrics that show the value of doing that or maybe they just fired that off...

    D&D General D&D: Literally Don't Understand This

I’m pretty sure that has been intimated, and if were just some D&D art they were bothered by, it wouldn’t be a problem. I can’t help but think it is the fact that some D&D art shows modern aspects at all that this thread continues to grow.

Gross. But also thank you for calling that out.

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I can’t decide if we are woefully understudying nutrition, or if there’s just not enough in that area to move the needle when it comes to helping patients. Like you said, someone can be deficient in a vitamin or mineral, but that also doesn’t mean mega dosing is going to make them better...

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Today’s the kind of day I’ve written and rewritten a post multiple times only to delete it because “why bother?”

    D&D General D&D: Literally Don't Understand This

I don’t think the problem is criticizing any single art piece or even product. I tire of the editorializing that says this is wrong for everyone, that somehow the game is moving away from a clear, original, and pure goal. It’s a single opinion on a single subject blown up into something much...

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I always remember that Linus Pauling used to take something like 3000 mg of Vitamin C a day, convinced it would ward away the common cold. Even really respected scientists can fall into quackery. There’s got to be something baked into our DNA at some level that makes us want to think food is the...

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I’ve noticed quite a number of chiropractors claiming to also be nutritionists.
